tanryuuki and nekryuu

The detail in this piece is exquisite. It really causes the viewer to have to slow down and take in all of the picture instead of just skimming over it. The girls outfit is especially eye catching and lead the view on to contemplate things about the character and her individuality.

The patterns add nice touches of detail, and the lineart is especailly clean and well done. The male is shaded perfectly, however, the girls shading seems a bit light in comparison, her white clothing is done well but the green and blue seem like they could have a slight bit darker shades and a little more depth.

Overall the picture gives a very dear feeling and is able to tell the viewer a story between the two characters in this single image, as good pictures do.
